Q1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?





For Question 1 I have created a video. This video is an edited version of my final music video. I have commented on how my media product can be compared to real products based on the conventions and effects i have used.


In my video it is clear that i have used aspects of Goodwins's principles. I have;

• Matched lyrics to visuals -  EG. Sand Shot
• Matched music to visuals - Transitions on beat
• Included genre characteristics - locations and effects match genre
• Included the notion of looking - Photograph, 360 shot of artist's eyes

I have created a Narrative and Performance based music video that would fit it with videos of current artists. These two types of video are currently more popular compared to a concept based music video.
